Marital Separation
My wife and I have been separated for nearly a year. In our state you have to be separated for one year before you can file for a divorce. I was told by the powers that be in my state that the arrangement we came up with for our marital separation agreement will carry forth into our divorce agreement.

Divorce is Not Impartial or Fair
There are established laws and rules that determine how your divorce is handled. When you decide to divorce, you need to keep this in mind. You will not, after all is said and done feel you got a "fair" divorce settlement. Unless both sides decide to play fair.
